Guest players

A seat at the table without an account.

Add a player by name and keep the game moving. The GM can manage their initiative and hit points from one screen.

Start with a name.

Some players arrive with a well-used paper sheet. Others are trying the game for the first time and want to focus on the people in the room. GM Console lets the GM add a guest to the campaign without requiring that person to sign up.

A guest gets a seat alongside campaign members. Arrange that seat to match the table, mark attendance, and include the guest when collecting initiative. Account holders and guests can play in the same encounter.

Let the GM handle the updates.

The GM enters a guest's initiative result and manages their hit points in the tracker. Guest hit points remain between fights, so the next encounter can start from the recorded value. Review that value after healing or a rest, just as you would on a paper sheet.

A guest entry is a practical way to track someone at the table. It does not give that person a signed-in character sheet or a personal live view. They can follow the GM's screen or listen for the next turn.

Useful beyond the first session.

This approach works for a regular player who prefers paper, a friend joining for one evening, or a group that wants one shared device. The GM can remove a guest when their place at the table is no longer needed.

Keep the character's detailed abilities, equipment, and other notes on their existing sheet. The guest record handles their place in the campaign's encounter flow.

Move to an account when it helps.

If the player later joins the campaign with an account, the GM can use the guest's “Joined the app as…” option to connect the entry to that member. Their seat, hit points, and place in the fight move over. Check the member name carefully so the right person receives the guest's place.

Bring the whole table, paper sheets included.
